FOUNDER/Senior Anthropologist

Specialising in human culture and development with a particular focus on applied creative technologies and art.

Roina holds a Masters in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development (ANU) and a Bachelors degree with Honours in Sociology and Anthropology (UWA). This melds with a strong prior background as a creative writer/director in communications, advertising and marketing.

With experience in Indonesia and China, Roina is extremely grateful to have spent the last 11 years dedicated to working in the Australian outback to support Aboriginal people's desire for cultural preservation, respect and recognition of pre-sovereign rights in lands, seas and waters. Stephen Corsini

Senior Archaeologist

Stephen Corsini is a sub-contractor and friend, hired through his company SJC Heritage Consultants, based in WA.

As well as a BA (Hons) Stephen has a Certificate in Social Impact Assessment from ECU and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Anthropology: Native Title and Heritage, through the UWA.

Over the past 17 years SJC Heritage Consultants has completed more than 270 Heritage Surveys across the Goldfield's, Midwest, Murchison-Gascoyne and the Pilbara recording hundreds of archaeological and ethnographic sites.

Karen Martin-Stone

FilM-Maker/Senior Archaeologist

An established and well-credentialed archaeologist, Karen is also an emerging TV presenter, comedian and writer. Karen's documentaries focus on themes such as archaeology, history, science and feminism.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Palaeoanthropology and Archaeology, Karen also holds a graduate diploma in Archaeology, Screen and Media Production. Her company, In-Depth Archaeology is based in the Northern Territory.

Karen is available at times to work with Human Terrains, as a sub-contractor. She is excellent at communicating and engaging with all walks of humans. That's why we like her! Download her resume
